Nautilus

The Nautilus, a project entirely developed by Analog Heroes, is a versatile piece of equipment that enables 3 main applications: Direct Box, Reamp, and Pedal Loop.

The Nautilus can be used as an amplified Direct Box, which converts the instrument signal to a balanced line level. Its sound is extremely clean and clear, with over 30dB of gain.

The second application is as a reamp, which allows a pre-recorded sound to be sent to an amplifier or pedals, preserving sonic integrity and dynamics.

By combining the two previous functions, it can be used as a loop to connect any equipment that operates at instrument level, such as guitar pedals, tape delays, and spring reverbs. In this case, the line signal is sent to the Nautilus, which converts it to an instrument signal, passes through the desired device, returns to the Nautilus, and is then converted back to a balanced line level, ready to be used with audio interfaces, mixing consoles, or any device with a line input. With the Input and Output gain controls, it is possible to create all the necessary gain structure within the Nautilus itself, thus preserving signal integrity.

In addition to all this, the Nautilus also features a VU Meter that allows reading both the input and output of the device, further facilitating the gain structure during use.
