AH47
Our version includes essential elements of the original, including an extremely accurate and faithful reproduction of the U47's BV-08 transformer. In addition, the AH47 also uses a new old stock Siemens EF800 tube made in Germany. All of this in a point-to-point hand-made construction, using the highest quality polyester capacitors. Another fundamental part of the model is the use of the K47 capsule, the same model that equipped all U47s manufactured after 1958.
In this configuration, the AH47 offers cardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns. To optimize its use in any studio, the microphone also features a radio frequency filter that we developed for modern use.
Finally, the AH47 is equipped with its own external power supply, which delivers all the necessary voltages for the microphone's operation, as well as a shock-mount and a customized 7-pin cable.

Transformer with nickel lamination and identical specifications to the original 1951 BV-8, essential for the characteristic coloring, depth, and dynamic response of the U47.

New Old Stock Siemens tube, made in Germany, carefully measured and selected to ensure stability, low noise, and the classic sound of great tube microphones.
POINT-TO-POINT WIRING
Built as in 1949: point-to-point hand assembly, with gold-plated terminals and a carefully optimized layout, combining tradition and modern precision.s
POWER SUPPLY
The AH-47's external power supply uses a custom transformer and high-quality components to provide clean and stable power to the microphone. It allows for the selection of the polar pattern between cardioid and omnidirectional via a dedicated switch. Its design evokes the 1950s, with a steel chassis and hammered paint finish.
CARRYING CASE
The AH-47 comes with a custom-made carrying case, designed to securely accommodate the microphone, power supply, shockmount, and cables. Robust and elegant, it ensures total protection during transport and storage, keeping all components organized and ready for use.
